Trekstor tablets are still in use in many homes and schools, especially older budget models. In 2026, the same three issues appear most often: slow performance, battery drain, and unstable connectivity.
Problem 1: Slow performance
Free at least 3-4 GB internal storage, uninstall unused apps, and disable heavy background syncing. Older Trekstor tablets become much smoother after a clean reset and lightweight app setup.
Problem 2: Battery drain
- Lower brightness and shorten screen timeout.
- Turn off Bluetooth, location, and Wi-Fi scanning when not needed.
- Replace old battery if drain is extreme even in standby.
Problem 3: Connectivity issues
Reset network settings, forget and reconnect Wi-Fi, and update firmware if available. If only one router fails, test another channel or 2.4GHz mode.
Tip: if the tablet is mainly for video and browsing, install fewer apps and use browser shortcuts instead of full apps to reduce lag.
