  1. Usually when you buy a pre-paid they have certain phones available for it. Atleast, that’s how Cingular rolls.
    That’s what I’ve got, and I had the pre-paid phone for a bit until my dog killed it and then borrowed an LG from my friends, and now I’ve got my sister’s old Razor for now.
    So, you can just switch the SIM card out I guess if you could buy the Samsung without having to pay for the plan also.
    But I really hate pre-paid. So I’ve not done much investigating.

  2. No, It has to be an US Cellular exclusive prepaid phone. Just call us cell store and ask which phone are available for prepaid
